What is AI-enabled future for Project Management?

How to embark on the AI journey and make the technology work for you?
How can AI lead you towards autonomous project management, so that you can think strategic and act agile?

This workshop will entail a walk-through the key components of AI, explaining differences between AI and Machine Learning and providing guidance on how to tackle AI adoption for your company. We will share some concrete and hands-on examples on how to apply AI in several areas of Project Management such as:

AI in Resource allocation
Planning how many people and how long they are needed to perform a certain task can be a complex optimization problem. However, if one has the right data AI, can easily find the optimal solution.

Applying AI in agile methodology. Predicting project duration
Project or task duration prediction is key in every project if you want things to run smooth: if tasks or entire projects take longer than expected, entire planning and go-lives can get affected. On the other hand, if tasks or projects finish earlier, employees can be temporarily without work meaning a loss of money and resources. In short, predicting project duration is key, whether on large scale industrial projects or on small scale agile IT projects.

Chatbot as an assistant for Project Manager
How can chatbots assist with the mundane PM tasks, such as reminders, task distribution and basic status communication so that Project Managers can focus on more strategic work and relationship management. They can be integrated with every-day tools such as Trello, Asana, Jira and many others. We all know automated reminders most of the time end up in the spam or remain unopened, thus a chat-bot which is real-time conversation will be helpful in addressing that.

Streamlining communications through Sentiment Analysis
Sentiment analysis can be applied to note taking, understanding emotions, specific words etc to assist with the communications. Walk-through how this can be done on a step-by-step basis. With the help of sentiment analysis people don’t need to take notes anymore.

For example, an AI generated summary is sent automatically after the meeting to everyone involved. Then AI extracts the to-do's and automatically creates them in the PM tool. (Then a couple of days later, the chatbot kicks in to remind you of those tasks of course and the cycle is completed).
