Workshop description

Due to the turbulence created by Covid-19, we are all going through the same storm but on different boats. Many Project Managers, facing immense pressures from both their employer and the client side, all while battling great uncertainty of their future role, do not realize their unique position during this crisis. Being the intermediary, the glue, the connector, they are in power to reach everyone, internally within their organizations and externally within their clients, and make a true difference for all. For this to happen a different approach towards the PM role is needed. 

The workshop will dive into the three key areas:

1. Changing world and the changing role of PMs: In the 1st section we will briefly speak about the unique power of a Project Manager and how to enhance it, elevate it and make that role mission-critical within an organization. We will look at the key factors that contributed to the shift in PMs role and explore how to go from survival to reinvention mode. 

1. The core - Myself: In the 2nd section we will look in depth into the cornerstone: the Project Manager him/herself. We will look at the key elements of mastering becoming “my best self” diving into the positive impact of healthy lifestyle, creating a winning mindset and establishing a strong support system, serving you as the foundation for success.

1. Mastering my connector role: In the 3rd section we will focus on the role each Project Manager has towards his/her own organization and the client. We will do a deep dive into the power of authenticity, exploring the power of speaking from your heart (rather than from your brain), share tips on how to have difficult conversations and conclude with proven healthy routines one can implement in private or work setting.

Speaker Bios

Katerina Klezlova 

Katerina Klezlova, was born in Czech Republic and spent the last 10 years working across Europe and internationally in the space of Business Development and Project Management for corporate, SME and startup clients. Katerina is a business development strategist, entrepreneur and business advisor with a passion for identifying sustainable and smart business growth and process optimization solutions, incorporating the importance of humanity and authenticity into the world of business. Currently, she is the COO of a new fintech business venture, Pepicon, aimed at digitalizing the inefficient fundraising process for unlisted companies while being a business advisor for her clients at Fortuny Consulting. 

 Anna Hakobyan

Anna Hakobyan, was born in Armenia and spent the last 20 years working across the world in New York, Montreal, Moscow, and currently Zürich. Along with her multinational corporation, startup, and UN agency experience, she also managed complex digital transformations for fortune 500 companies and secured strategic partnerships.  With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Master’s in Public Administration, and a PMP certification, she’s also a prolific networker. She is passionate about helping companies in various parts of the world scale their operations. Her current role at Pyxis is leading the North American operations, helping companies stay relevant in the rapidly changing world of technology.
