Visual communication is playing an increasingly important role in media, corporate communications as well as in team management. Images, icons, graphics, photos and videos are no longer used to only illustrate and decorate text and presentations. They have become information assets on their own and are deployed to motivate and stimulate team members and to tell compelling stories. Project managers and team leaders need to become better “Visual Storytellers” and learn a “visual language” to harness the power of visuals and their benefits as a picture is worth a thousand words, and much more.
